Stonington Capital Advisors appoints Ed Eiland as partner

Ed Eiland has been appointed a partner at Stonington Capital Advisors. Eiland had been working with the Stonington team on all their fundraising assignments since the beginning of 2013.

Ed Eiland was named Partner of Stonington Capital Advisors effective Monday October 14, 2013.

Mr. Eiland had been working with the Stonington team on all their fundraising assignments since the beginning of 2013. Mr. Eiland works out of Stonington’s office in Atlanta, Georgia where he manages institutional relationships and assists with the firm’s distribution efforts. Previously Mr. Eland was the Director of Investor Relations with HIG Capital in Miami Florida, a leading global private investment firm with over $13 billion of capital under management. Mr. Eiland was responsible for the fundraising strategy, investor relations and investor communications strategy at HIG.

Mr. Eiland said, “He is delighted to join a platform like Stonington which is responsive to a part of the market that is often over looked by larger agents”.

Mr. Eiland joins Lehman Brothers’ alumni Dana Pawlicki and Justin Garrod, who co-founded Stonington and also works in conjunction with private funds capital raising veteran Patrick O’Meara, founder of Profor Securities, who serves as Senior Advisor to Stonington Capital Advisors, and assists with many of the team’s fundraising assignments.
