Pawlicki Leaves Evercore for Stonington Capital

Dana Pawlicki has joined Stonington Capital Advisors as a Managing Partner effective Sept. 10. He joins from Evercore Partners’ private funds group where he was a founding partner. At Evercore, Pawlicki worked for three years as MD–head of origination and project management.

Dana Pawlicki has joined Stonington Capital Advisors as a Managing Partner effective Monday September 10, 2012.

Dana Pawlicki joins Stonington from Evercore Partners’ Private Funds Group where he was a founding partner, and worked for nearly 3 years as Managing Director – Head of Origination and Project Management. At Evercore, Mr. Pawlicki also managed a number of institutional investor relationships in the Northeast and Midwest. Mr. Pawlicki had previously held this role at Neuberger Berman, prior to Evercore’s purchase of the group in early 2010 and before that, at its predecessor, Lehman Brothers. Prior to becoming a placement agent, Mr. Pawlicki was Director of Global Product Development for Citigroup Alternative Investments and a private funds lawyer at Fried Frank and Seward & Kissel.

Mr. Pawlicki joins co-Managing Partner Justin Garrod who most recently headed fund raising for a New York based private equity firm, and had previously worked with Mr. Pawlicki in Lehman Brothers’ placement business. Prior to joining Lehman Brothers, Mr. Garrod held a senior role in private funds at Deutsche Bank and was a corporate attorney at Schulte Roth & Zabel and Cravath, Swaine & Moore.

Mr. Pawlicki and Mr. Garrod are also working in conjunction with private funds capital raising veteran Patrick O’Meara, founder of Profor Securities, who will serve as Senior Advisor to Stonington Capital Advisors, and assist with many of the team’s fundraising assignments.
