Dan Rudgers has joined Stonington Capital Advisors as a senior managing director effective Jan. 14. Most recently, Rudgers held a senior distribution role at First Avenue Partners and was previously a managing director on Lazard’s private fund advisory team.

Stonington Capital Advisors, a leading global placement agent for lower middle market private equity funds and independent sponsors announces that Dan Rudgers has joined the firm as a Senior Managing Director effective Monday January 14, 2019.
Mr. Rudgers joins Stonington with over twenty years of private equity fund placement experience covering institutional investors across the U.S. and Canada. Most recently, he held a senior distribution role at First Avenue Partners and was previously a Managing Director on Lazard’s Private Fund Advisory team where worked for 8 years. Prior to Lazard, Mr. Rudgers held senior private equity distribution roles at both Lehman Brothers private equity and Deutsche Bank’s private funds groups.
Mr. Rudgers brings with him additional continuity with the Stonington team, as he worked with both Stonington Co-Founders and Managing Partners Dana Pawlicki and Justin Garrod at Lehman Brothers.
